This demanding linear walk means we get more mountain for our money. Starting from Llanberis, the home of the Snowdon Mountain Railway, we will trek into the Glyders and visit not one, but five mountain summits before arriving at Capel Curig.

The Glyders offer some of the most fantastic views through Snowdonia, seated between the mighty Carneddau and of course the Snowdon Massif itself. This linear trek is great for covering more ground, starting in Llanberis and travelling over 5 summits before dropping into Capel Curig.
Witness first hand the impressive rock formations of the Glyders, including the famous cantilever and the Castell y Gwynt, or castle of the winds.
We will meet at the Siabod Cafe in Capel Curig at 8am for a 8.30am start. Because we will be transferring from here to the start of our walk, it is important that we are able to leave promptly.
In the morning
After we have transferred to Llanberis, we will head for the hills. This long walk is a demanding one, with some impressive ascents. According to the weather, we will aim to be on the summits of the Glyders for lunchtime.
In the afternoon
As we pass the mighty presence of Tryfan and it's imposing slopes, we begin our gradual descent to Capel Curig, where we will get the opportunity to grab a drink and a slice of cake after our walk.
At the end of the course
We will aim to be back for the cars by 5-6pm according to conditions during the day.
